EDUCATION & OUTREACH
Doing What’s Needed
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
We encourage participants to engage in self-awareness, fellowship, self-discovery, and social re-entry preparedness for those within incarcerated communities. Learning activities assimilate a doorway or threshold of change to decisions and actions, which subsequently led to sub optimal performance, low self-esteem, or sense of unfulfilled employment. Several resources combined with engaging learning activities are employed leading to a Journeyman style of discovery to encourage lifelong learning. The various programs strive to create an active community that projects a positive influence.
